How to choose, prepare and install car amplifier to your vehicle that goes best
Think about the situation when your car have a strong amplifier which agitate your ear or such a weak class A amp where sound does not reach your ear clearly. So you have to emphasize on some important features to have the right car amplifier for your car. First choose the power rating which varies from 100watt to 1000/1500 watt for vehicle, but 200watt is sufficient. Choosing proper class is also an important factor: generally A/B class amps are perfect for cars. Input voltage, frequency response, and type of connection are other specifications that should be considered. However you can be sure of the quality of the amp by estimating its weight and size yet it is not imperial. Better quality amps have bigger heat sinks to house more components as a result their size and weight increases.
After choosing the amp you need to install it in an appropriate place in your car. Though it’s somewhat challenging because you have to make sure that amp gets enough air to be cooled, avoid risk to be theft, from where you can get the full effect and also looks good to see the placement. You can make it by your own creativity. If you have managed a car sub-woofer then you need to set the amp near the woofer. Again if car amplifier are powered by the amp then it’s better to set the car amplifier under passengers’ seat. Often specialists suggest that the amp should be placed near power supply or battery.
A proper airflow system is a major condition while installing, because the electronics components become overheated while volume is to be raised which may damage the components. There are two ways of cooling; convection and forced air. Convection is a natural process of cooling, where warm air circulates out of the amp and cool air draws into it. This cool air in turn warmed and replaced by cool air from outside.
Now come to the connection of the car amp to speakers and woofer. One thing that you need to know before connection is ‘bridging’, it is the process to make a 4 channel amp into 2 or 2 channel to 1. It permits the car amplifier to impel one speaker with more power than the amp could make for two speakers because of this soaring power output.
A quality system depends on many factors some of which I discuss above. A car amplifier not only amplifies the audio before entering to the speaker but also eliminates noise and distortion and makes sound sweet. Since music enhance the mode while driving or riding so car owner should manage a better car amplifier.
